Information system FIS in SKARAB s.r.o.
There was a contract of implementation of information system FIS signed with the company Skarab s.r.o.
A detailed warehouse management system and support for a supply chain was the most important requirements
during selection of a new information system.
There will be new customer based functiononalities in the FIS for data exchange with the most important suppliers.
The information system FIS will be used by cca 30 users.
The company SKARAB s.r.o is one of the major vendors and importers of spare parts for trucks and cars.
Spare parts are sold either directly from warehouse or distributed by own delivery vans
according to delivery plan. Trucks maintenance and service is also provided by the company SKARAB.
New version of the information system FIS
The information system FIS was successfuly migrated to a new version of development environment Uniface 9.3, on which the whole IS is build and running. The new version offers a better user interface and new functions of the information system, and it shall offer support for mobile devices running Windows Mobile operation system.
Information system in cooperation with Satum Czech s.r.o.
Implementation of the information system FIS was initiated in the company Satum Czech s.r.o. Information system FIS will cover mainly the fields of economics, accountancy, purchase and sales processes including creation of special functions for integration with operation information system Avalio, used especially for the register of insurance agreements and procedures of insurance.
The company SATUM CZECH s.r.o. is one of the major broker insurance companies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Information system FIS in MSG Slovakia
Based on the requirements of the company Moravia Sport Group spol. s r.o. the FIS information system will be implemented in the subsidiary in Slovakia too. Implementation will take place in several stages. In the first stage it should be established in 8 branches of the company.
New module Laboratories
The new module Laboratories (LAB) was completed and it supplements a wide portfolio of modules of the FIS information system. This module offers observation and register of samples, creation of groups of measurement in association with technological procedures, extensive possibilities of evaluation, observation of production in quality control, release of batches, etc.
Internet wholesale in the company ORFA a. s.
In the company ORFA a.s. modules of an internet shop were successfully implemented, which supplement the basic information system with new modules and functions and therefore provide necessary information to wholesale customers.
FIS information system for VISTA
FIS information system version 8 was successfully certified for the new operation system VISTA of the Microsoft Corporation. The information system now keeps the appearance and graphical features of the new operation system including the new graphical interface Aero.
Internet portal
A contract for development and supply of an internet portal for the company COME automaty s.r.o. was signed. Such internet portal will be collecting and providing information to all subjects engaged in the distribution programme "Milk to Schools". Initiation of the operation will be established to 1st September 2009. This portal shall include modules for management of each vending machine including communication, monitoring of errors and service of vending machines, information for schools, monitoring of the condition of each credit card, etc.
FIS9
There was work initiated in order to create a new version of the FIS information system with the use of new Uniface 9 technologies. The new version shall offer a new user interface and functions of the information system. It will be available to the users in the first half of the year 2008.
Internet shop
Users of the FIS information system can supplement the system with new modules and functions for the support of wholesale through the internet. Such internet shop contains a catalogue of the product range arranged according to the selectable attributes including monitoring of stock, creation and monitoring of the condition of orders, observation of issued invoices, etc. All data and views are processed online by the technology of the application software and it is possible to make any information from the FIS information system available to the end users. The internet shop is also supplemented with editorial information system for the end users.
Administration of documents
Work on the Administration of documents modules was completed. Users are now able to store any document directly to the Oracle database with an arrangement to a tree structure with regard to the access rights. Any document can now be associated with any object in the information system (partner, issued invoice, technological procedure, etc.).
Identification
Modules (IDF) for identification and monitoring of movements of goods, material in stock and production through the wireless terminals (bar codes, RFID) were completed. There are extensive functions for creation of automatic stock including support of stock positions, observation of batches, etc. offered. These modules are now in routine operation, e.g. in Dairy Works Kunín a.s., in Dairy Works Olešnice RMD.
School programme
There was a contract with the company COME Automaty s.r.o. signed for development of software for management of vending machines including support applications for PDA. The company COME Automaty is an important distributor of vending machines in the Czech Republic. This software solves sale of products in schools by means of pupil's credit cards within the programme "Milk to Schools".
