Information system administration
SYS – System
The module enables the system administrator to set and define parameters of the FIS information system and perform system maintenance. Administraiton of the system is performed in two areas: in the system settings and in the programmer settings.
Setting the system
- entry of basic codebooks such as codebooks of centres, orders, activities, postal codes, states, constant symbols etc.
- definition of basic data about the company (bank accounts, organisation units, etc.)
- setting the types of documents and its properties to each module
- initialisation of numerical lines according to the type of documents
- definition of all used types of printers and printing parameters
- setting the parameters for data import and export
- creation of document groups
- observation of user work in the FIS information system (login and logout)
- setting of the parameters of selected actions
Programmer setting
- configuration of the system according to the particular requirements of the user
- definition of the properties of the entities (tables) and tasks of the FIS information system
- maintenance of the list of forms, configurations and settings of their parameters
- setting the access to assemblies from individual forms
- setting of the parameters of actions
PRA - Access rights
The module of access rights ensures protection and information availability.
- each user of the FIS system receives a unique identification number and a name from the administrator
- each user logs into the system with a name and a password The administrator has a right to restrict the access of the user by time, and possibly to ask the user to enter a new password. Information about login and logout are stored in a database. Identification number of the user, date and time are entered in each new or repaired document.
- entry of new users to the FIS information system, possibly creation of user groups
- access without restrictions to individual modules may be set for the system administrator or for other special users.
- the function to set users enables to determine the level of user access from one site, e.g. its access to individuals tasks, modules, actions, tables and document types. The right for reading, changing, placing a document to accountancy and possibly the rights for special functions, which may be performed with the documents (cancellation, pairing, payment, etc.) may be set in tables and types of documents.
- easier and faster setting of new users is allowed by the functions for copying the rights, which enable copying, and possibly adding of the rights of a particular user or a group of users to a new user.
